The belt is fine and works fine as lower drive belt. Factory belt sizes didn't work , the mower keep moving , making it hard to change direction and stop. It finally it me the beats were to small even though they were replacement belts.This one is 1.5 in. Longer and works fine. Problem solved.

One Star. My 5/8 x 64 belt for is for JD mower deck. I gave it one star because the belt is so soft it actually stretches like a big rubber band. I've never seen anything like it. It is the correct size and fits properly and tensions up tight when installed with plenty of spring tension remaining in the backside roller belt tensioner. However after a few minutes of operation, the belt slips when the mower blades are under heavier load. Sometimes the belt turns inside out.After removal and careful inspection I noticed the belt felt really soft. I put it under my foot and pulled hard. The darn thing stretched like a bungee cord. Not just a bad spot with broken cords inside, but the entire belt stretches.I then put it back on to finish the job, and it tensioned up fine, ran smoothly, UNTIL cutting thick grass. Off to NAPA to get a normal belt.
