Seems to be a pretty good sound deadener for the money. Purchased it to cut the noise from my 1967 Dodge’s roof. Wanted something that wasn’t as heavy as Boom Mat to adhere to the interior roof. Moderately dense, foam-based material. Much thicker than butyl sound deadener (this is close to 1/2†thick). Easy to work with and conform. Had best results cutting with large, sharp scissors and using upholstery adhesive on the roof before peeling and sticking this on.Happy with it for the roof but would I personally not use for the floor. Too thick and spongy for me. Will not cut the sound as much as a butyl material but still cut exterior noise noticeably.

I used it to add a layer of sound proofing and hopefully even heat proofing the engine cover in our RV.It sticks REALLY well, it's easy to cut. Perfect solution

Sticky Backing. Nice and thick. The heat layer is durable. They were easy to cut with scissors. Molded to vehicle floor easily. I installed these over the Amazon Basics Car Sound Deadener.

The material worked out great. It was easy to use and it really cut down on the noise coming from the new exhaust system I put on my car. I ended up going two layers deep and I can hear myself think inside the car again even under hard acceleration. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!!!

We used this material as a sound deadening for a 1984 square body with a 305 8 cylinder. It reduced the noise significantly in the cab. Great value for the money especially since we had several squares left over. The glue once down held in place and did not slip. It's thikness was minimal but yet did a great job. There was no uncomfortable smell and to clean the material one had to simply wipe it down.

The material is very easy to install and trim. It did abate the noise to a degree but it appears the noise is generated by a problem in the muffler system. My car is 25 years old.

I used this product to re-line the inside cover off of my 25 HP Johnson outboard motor.Because you have to cut and fit these pieces to match the shape of the cover, you cannot butt the joints up to each other super tight. To make it look like a nicer and cleaner installation, I also bought a roll of aluminum foil tape which matched the shiny cover of these units. I used it to cover up each joint, and anywhere else I could to make it look nicer. In the end, it did a awesome job, and looks great.

Me decepcionó, es una lámina muy maleable, no creo que ayude mucho, es muy blanda a comparación de marcas como stp o killmat, lo utilice en un cajon plastico y no note mucha diferencia.

easy to install, simple to use, not as effective as I was hoping.when cutting foam (even with a fresh usility knife blade, the control interface doesn't cut cleanly the whole way.maybe scissors would be better
