I'm still thinking about installing a heavier Hipshot bridge on my Fender Classic Series 50s Precision bass, but I usually use flatwound strings and sustain isn't so important. Resonance, however, is critical and this bridge delivers! I think this bridge allows the tone of the bass itself to shine through! I had to drill two small starter holes for the front screws to avoid any splitting in the body, but that wasn't a big deal. If you know how to do your own setups as I do, you've got it made! This little guy is much better than the stock "folded sheet metal" bridge! It seems very solid, very well made and does actually have a little "heft" to it. Thumbs up!

I replaced a broken bridge on a MIM Fender Jazz Bass bought on Craigslist. This bridge appears to be more substantial in weight and the additional 2 screws in front of the saddles are an improvement in my opinion. Better price than the OEM replacement.

Easy action and intonation adjustments. High quality screws that fit well, great looking plating. The base is totally flat, unlike some of the cheap Chinese knockoffs. You get what you pay for

Pretty nice, 7 mounting holes to choose from. I will install it on my mij 51P OPB next time I have to replace strings.

Was dead nuts as a replacement for my Yamaha BB series bass.I replaced the bridge because my bass player has acid sweat and had corroded the S*** out of the original.
