Govee is the best company I've ever worked with. Their response is fast and respectful. The Govee Bluetooth Meat Thermometer was very easy to start and use. It just works. It even works for potatoes

We bought this as a gift to take to a White Elephant Party and it took a couple of weeks to receive an update, but here we are! My uncle ended up with it and we received great feedback that this is legit! He loves that you can connect it to your phone and there are several options in meats and other items to grill. It's easy to use/download and it works great!

This product works great. The probes have long enough leads to use easily with my oven or grill. The ap is a little hard to get used to, but it is very functional. It seems to be designed to work with many smart home devices. So, the functionality with this device is pretty basic, but works well. The device supports more probes than I could imagine needing. The two probes that come in the package are all I've needed.

I've had this for quite a while and have since bought another brand that came with 4 probes hoping to use a couple for this one. Then I could use on inside and one outside. Unfortunately they use a different size jack. Using the other one made me appreciate this one so much more though that I figured I should go back and review this one. The other model I just got has it's own separate receiver rather than using a phone app. I like the phone app better as it's easier to read and navigate. I also found the receiver from the other brand to be quite bulky. I have a large yard and one of the things I liked best about the Govee unit was that I could monitor whatever I was cooking while mowing or doing yardwork from anywhere on my property. The other unit didn't have the range and the receiver was too big to fit in my pocket. Upon testing I found that the most important feature was completely lacking and that was accuracy! I tested the units against each other in my smoker. The other unit read about 10-15 degrees higher than the smoker probe, the Govee unit or an analog thermometer hanging in the smoker which all matched. Obviously the other unit won't be used again. I thought I was getting a bargain as the other unit was the same price as two replacement probes and I got 4 probes with it. What I got was unusable garbage. I think I'll just buy another one of these since it now comes with two probes. I might just buy an extra set of probes two though I don't usually need more than two at a time.

I'm starting to practice smoking cuts, and testing this temperature probe makes the work much easier, the sensor and the test tips feel of good quality and they worked well the 9 hours of heat inside the smoker, the only negative point is that the magnet of the equipment is not very strong and drops the sensor if you try to hang it with the magnet, but apart from that is an excellent product that allows you to check the cooking from any room in the house, you can place low and high temperature alarms and from the phone application the alarm helps you control the whole process

Great price, works fantastic. I love that it comes with two temperature probes and you can expand with more. The two is perfect to begin with: one to monitor grill/oven temp and another to monitor thickest/middle part of steak, brisket, turkey, etc.I have found that monitoring with this thing with usual guidelines works great. e.g. Thanksgiving turkey at 165 or so, check phone or set alarm. Boom, you're done. Want a brisket, check for 155F. Want a medium rear (big) steak, 135F.

Thermometer was not recognized by my iPad or iPhone. It works ok but does not do as advertised. I checked the accuracy at 100, 150 and 212 degrees F. ( I have NIST traceable calibration standards) it read 5 degrees low at 100 and within 1 degree at 150 and 212 degrees so it’s fairly accurate at the temperatures for meat. At $25 it performs ok. I have about 2 weeks to decide if I will keep it or send it back. If you want a high quality thermometer this is not the one for you, however plan on spending much more for better quality.
