They do not work. I ended up buying 3 packs thinking more would do the job. It didn't. Not even close. I wasted enough money on these that I could've already gone a different direction and probably been more successful. The double sided foam did stick. But the comb part did not hold onto the carpet at all.

slapped the entire pack on the underside of my winwing rudder pedals. they provide enough grip that even at full pressure on the pedals trying to stop my a-10, it doenst move. my bad piloting skills aside, perfect hold.

After making sure the bottom of the scatter rug was cleaned of any foreign material and dirt, I followed instructions and applied the double sided tape to the 4 corners of this relatively small 16' x 20" rug. Then pressed on the 4 plastic grippers. Well, the scatter rug still moves, albeit slower.By the way, the carpet on which the scatter rug sits and floats is of a medium and relatively dense pile.A waste of time, effort, and money.

The product works for thinner rugs. I had a thicker runner and the grippers did not "dig" in enough to hold the runner. On a thinner larger rug the grippers worked fine. I am not sure if the product is designed for rugs on carpet. I would suggest longer spikes if the purchaser is intending on using the item on carpet.

There’s potential for it to work properly but they did not work for me. Car mats still slide around. Maybe if the “teeth†were longer and could go into the carpet farther it would work. Note: I have a Honda Accord.

Works well to hold auto floor mats still on carpet.

I paid extra for this item in hopes it would produce better results. The spikes don't grip the rugs allowing the rugs to slide. I tried pushing the spikes into the rug but they don't secure the rugs in place. Don't waste your money.

Disappointed in this purchase. They don’t seem to hold my rug in place even though I doubled them up. They also leave quite a noticeable bump where they are under the rug. Wouldn’t recommend

I had high hopes for this product. Wanted them to hold rubber backed mat in place onto deep pile carpet. The adhesive pads seemed to adhere to the rubber underside of the mat really well, the spikes seemed long and fierce enough to grip the carpet. But did they work? NO! Not in the slightest. From first use the mat crept forward, then again, and again. Today, found one of the pads had come unstuck from the underside of the mat. So... not impressed. Apparent waste of money!Update 7/4/22.... now all pads have detached from rubber underside of mat, leaving sticky residue that has affected the carpet. TOTAL waste of money.

I was dubious about purchasing these because of the poor feedback, but I have found them to be excellent. I bought these to hold in place a plastic backed mat in my motor home which has a fitted carpet. I stuck the grippers to the underside of the mat, and the prongs embed into the pile of the fitted carpet. The mat used to slip all over the place, but is now rock steady. I can feel a slight bulge under the mat when I walk on it, but I find that acceptable, now that I don't have to constantly move the mat into place. When choosing rug grippers I think it's important to consider the materials of the rug backing and the flooring. I would not have used these ones for a hard floor.
