I always have cat grass growing near my cats water fountain. The grass I’d grown lately (mostly wheat grass) seemed to take forever to germinate & looked kind of weak. I searched for other types of kits & pots & soils to see if there was something better than what I had been using. I came across this little kit with great reviews & decided to try it. It sprouted fast & my cats really seemed excited about it. I did not look at the seed packs to read the contents … so when I got only a few long sprouts together with an abundance of something small & 2 leaved, I didn’t know what I was giving my cats. Thankfully someone posted a pic of the back of a seed pack that showed what the contents were.

Easy instructions to prep. Took about 4 days to start sprouting. Cats love to nibble.

My cat loves grass, the type that is shown in the pics for product. This is a mix of seed and the typical grass is about 10 blades w/ the rest of the sprouts as short little greens about an inch tall. I'll go back to planting "The Cat Ladies 100% Organic Cat Grass Seed". I just didn't have soil on hand and thought this would be an interim fix. Moses showed no interest in this and he usually starts his day w/ greens. Easy to set up and sprouted quickly. The lids, aka saucers are too small/snug fit to allow for watering from below.

Doing this with little kids would be awesome. Easy to start. Grows quickly. Hope cats like it!!

These kits are easy to assemble and the growth rate is fast, as advertised. My cat loves this grass. I've been growing mine in direct sunlight as instructed for several weeks and it hasn't grown more than 3 inches high.. looks nothing like the picture.

I had high hopes for this. the first planting sprouted overnight and there were some tall blades within a few days. my cat loves those. most of the growth was some small 2-leafed plants about 1/2" tall that my cat has zero interest in.so i decided to plant the other two containers (using the same seed packet - one seed packet will easily seed all three planters). i was hoping maybe there were more of the 'grass' seeds and i had just inadvertently only planted a few the first time around. these next plantings took a couple days to sprout, but sadly came up with only a few blades of grass in each, same as the first. mostly that other stuff that doesn't seem to grow any more, and the cat doesn't seem interested.so i have 2 more seed packets that i will try in a couple weeks after i've given up on these. very disappointing that they look nothing like the pictures at all. i don't know what the small plants are but they vastly outnumber the actual 'grass.' will have to try another product.

My kitties don't even let it grow all the way before they tear into it. I have multiple indoor cats and they all seem to approve of this product. It takes a while to get fully grown but it's easy and there are plenty of seeds in the packet. Highly recommend.

I bought this my 4 kittie cats. The grow dishes are the perfect size for a window sill and a small apartment. My cats love it and I have had less upset stomachs. I would recommend this product it is good quality and great product it grew very quickly and my kitties love to nibble on it!!
