Didn't notice how heavy this thing is. Returned due to awkward weight.

Functioning roof anchor system component. It is heavy and awkward for one person to deploy on a sloping roof. Holds water in cross tube after single rain and pours out rust colored, staining liquid days later when removing/moving unit. Cross tube has poorly designed retention bolt for telescoping function which allows unit to spread open unexpectedly during handling. This is not a good feature when you are climbing a ladder or walking across a sloped rood deck while carrying the unit. Swivel feature works flawlessly and installing and removing a SRL is very easy and user friendly. It is a good value for the money, but would benefit from a couple of inexpensive design improvements.

This product is a sufficient means of tie-off for a standing seam metal roof system. I purchased these some time ago, for low slope use, as one of very few options for this type of roof system. Very well built. It also supports the SRL to keep it off of the roof and swivels in a 360 degrees to eliminate tangles. The con is definitely to weight of the system. Very bulky and heavy for one man to carry and setup. Would be extremely difficult setup for sloped applications. All anchor points need to be removed and reinstalled daily to prevent rust and other damage to the system. Better options available.
