To start out, i have to say the pickup works great.... seems to be sensitive enough to be used as a 'haptic contact' mic... and has good frequncy range for what i use it for..Im not using this on a guitar, but it is feeding a guitar amp... the problem is that if the cable gets nearanything generating an electrical noise field, it picks it up, even better than the pickup detects 'haptic' sound... so thats a bit of a problem...Any type of pickup in this class really needs to have shielded cable for this reason.I am assuming that this is a 'cost cut' measure, but in the end, it under-performs in my opinion..

This type of pickup isn't really great in my opinion. The NG-1 type is way better.

This pickup is very inexpensive compared to what I see in music stores. It works somewhat, but the sound quality is mediocre. I plan to use it only for experimentation and practice with a guitar that does not have a built-in pickup. For public performances, I will use a much better quality pickup.
