The connector was a bit of a tight fit... not sure I got it to completely seat, but I added a zip tie to keep it from working it's way loose. Once installed, the new button works as expected. Saved a fortune not having to replace the whole assembly.

I had to shave down the white connector part, and it was still a very tight fit inside the liftgate. Fortunately, it worked immediately and everything else fit as it should.

Fit perfect. Be careful not to break the trim piece. There are screws you have to remove first and they are accessible once you remove the interior hatch panel covers.

I ended cutting the old cord and replacing it for the new one because the new cord was having problems with the electrical connection. And now April 10 2024 the device don’t work completely.

This products works in the tail gate of the Nissan Kicks S 2020 also. Like others said , the connector is a little too tight but it works. Also the fitment of the main body to the button slot in tailgate is not so perfect (a bit too loose) as OEM , but duct tape can help. Such a relief to get this component!
