This collar is great. We can just slip it on without unhooking it. I did discover that there is a lock on the clasp. That's a really neat feature. I like the leash too.

Perfect collar for my dog (petit griffon basset Vendeen called Walter). He is in between a small and medium sized collar, an almost impossible fit to find! finally Found this one and very happy with it. We need a Martindale collar for Walter, and this one is well a made and the proper size.

This is very helpful with a rambunctious dog. It doesn’t stop pulling but allows more control. It looks nice, is very strong, and fit well. I rated down one star due to the rubber coverings at the glued seam on both ends of the leash has loosened. The loops for the hand hold and the hook are stilled glued together but the protective covering is unattached. I will try to glue the coverings back in place.

I LOVE this collar for my 85lb collie. It’s not too heavy, it isn’t too thick for his neck, the length is adjustable and fits around his neck and mane perfectly. I could probably purchase the same size for my Australian shepherd and it would fit just fine at its shortest. The reflection lines aren’t very reflective at all. I bought the package that came with the leash because it was the same price as just the collar however I will not be using the leash. The padded grip on the leash is great but it’s simply too short for my collie and would be too heavy for my Aussie. Overall I think the price was wonderful considering it came with the leash as well.

My dog looks so great in this collar and it’s very durable. He’s an American bully and pulls a lot but this collar is helpful.

This collar is classy looking and perfect working! We needed a collar that did TWO things (and a lot of collars only do one of these): 1- provide the mild-choking aspect to help our dog learn to leash-train, and 2- Be easily removable so that he doesn't need to wear the collar around the house all the time when he's at home. Honestly, this collar has been a lifesaver! Also, the handle is really soft on the hand. Makes walking the dog not only tolerable, but also pleasant. (It might be sized a little small though. We initially tried one size and had to return it and get the next size up.)By the way, in case anyone is dealing with a stubborn dog, I'll pass on that the other thing that has been a lifesaver is carrying a pocket sized "siren" (or just playing one on YouTube on your phone), and then sounding it for just a second when he won't move. Our dog is no longer a stubborn mule! He even moves when we need him too now simply by gesturing to the device (which we had hanging on a pouch around the neck), so now I just need to pat our chest twice and he moves!!! Hope this is helpful to even one of you, because we tried everything before this, and this has turned our walks from dreaded nightmares to very pleasant, enjoyable walks (where we are in control of where we are going and when we come home!) The handheld alarms we use are these in the link below (which are actually meant for windows) and again, I really can't praise these enough when used in this way!!!!

The leash and collar are both good quality and nice to look at...however, the collar was too small for my dog. She is roughly 80 lbs and the collar was WAY too tight around her neck. This was made more so for a medium sized breed, not a large one like my F1 standard Goldendoodle. I chose to go ahead and keep the set because I do like the look and quality of the leash. I had read some reviews that complained about the small collar size, but I ignored them. If you are concerned about the size like I was, take this as your sign to steer clear!

Als Hundetrainer werde ich immer wieder nach Empfehlungen für Zubehör gefragt. Diese Martingale Halsbänder kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen: tolle verschiedene Farben, gute Verarbeitung, kleine Martingale Schlaufe wo der Hund nicht hängen bleiben kann, Schnellverschluß mit Sicherungsriegel , genügend breit. Es ist das einzige Martingale, daß wenigstens halbwegs kleine Größen hat. Mein Top-Favorite für jeden Hund.

Best collar ever. It lasts and works so well. The lead will stretch but is comfy and continues to work. Would buy again if this one ever needs to be replaced.

Nice quality leash with a rubber handle. Feels nice in the hand - martingale works well on our lab who has an 18" neck, lots of adjustment for different neck sizes.
