Overall, this collar is alright. The material it is made of doesn't have as much traction as I'd like. It's a little too easy to make looser, which could be a problem if/when a dog is trying to escape the collar--and avoiding this escape is the whole point of a martingale.

The fit of this Martingale collar is amazing on my 50lb dog! With just a few adjustments she's ready to go! My girl is a puller and is rather muscular for a medium sized dog, so the way it clips on the side rather than to slip over her head made me worry if she would break through it with her pulling strength. But surprisingly it has held up quite well so far with no signs of breaking.The fabric is nice and slick and fits comfortably on her neck. And has you can tell by her face, she couldn't agree more!!So happy we ordered this!
