I had to cut the supports in my case to make this fit as it fills more than one slot. Not a big deal. Was easy to put together, very vague instructions and none of the labels matched up. Just follow the picture diagram.Fan mounted easily and everything fits well! I couldn't be happier. Very affordable and was easy to mount.Ignore how it's not flush in my setup, it can mount flush. I have a sound deadening case so it needs to sit back to get airflow.

I've bought this for my Lian Li case NAS server. It allows me to use the 5.25" bays for 5 drives. Cheap and easy to use. First time assembled it wrong, so mind those assembly directions :)

Easy to set up. 120MM fan mounts with no issues. Stacks 5 drives with minimal clearance. Over the years I've bought 3 and have 12 3.5" drives in a full tower for my home storage solutions. Much cheaper than icydock or other brands.

Once assembled, cage is strong and is as advertised. But after attaching the rails, the drive does not slide easily into cage! Tight fit!!!

Works as expected. Wasn't too hard to slap together, got my drives in fairly easily, and added a Be Quiet! brand fan that is keeping my drives nice and cool as they supply data to and from my homelab server. I plan on buying more and shoving them all into a homemade wooden case with more fans in it.

The assembly is cumbersome. I recommend just looking at the final picture on the instruction sheet and it's easy to figure out from there. Also don't use the wrong screws. The very short screws are for the cage. The longer black screws are for fastening the rails to the drives. This fit perfectly into an old Antec SX1030 (old but GOOD) into the top where 5.25" would go. I put a nice Noctua 120mm fan in and everything's great.Good for the price!

The cage works exactly as expected, but I do have 1 issue that I feel like mars the experience: the bracket pieces that is used to attach to the hdd are a bit too thick. Why is this a problem? It makes inserting and removing the drives a very difficult process. There is a significant amount of friction on insertion of the hdd with the brackets on and even though I don't plan to regularly remove the drives from the cage, I dislike having unnecessary force on anything. I had to 3d print a bracket that is literally 1mm thinner that solves the problem.I talked to the seller who apologized and gave me a partial credit, but I doubt they would make any changes. I will eventually post up the bracket files on thingiverse. Once I do, I'll update this review with the link so others might be able to do the same thing.

Cheapest drive cage conversion I could find. Easy to assemble if your not an idiot. Instructions are very clear. Filled this bad boy up with drives and slapped it in my rack mount server. Very happy for the price. I used a gray noctua fan I had laying around, which also for fine. What more can you ask for at this price? I didn’t even get cut assembling it, kinda disappointed about that.

The add says stainless steel, the product is not stainless steel, it is galvanized steel. Misleading material. Probably paid more for this this misleading add.

So this cage is exactly the same width as the 5.25" bays it's meant to fit into. That's great and all but assumes all PC cases have no supports in each bays to allow droves to allow kit to be slid in.My Corsair case does, I expect most cases do? So check your case and see if you have supports that reduce the usable width below 5.25".
