This inducer motor looks exactly like the original 24-year old inducer motor in my Carrier 58PAV135 furnace, it fit perfectly. Note that there are a lot of different inducer motors on the market, this one was correct for my furnace, you will have to do your own research to make sure this motor fits your furnace. This motor did not come with the inducer blower wheel, the gasket for the mounting plate, or the motor shaft seal, it is just the motor only. I was able to purchase those items separately on Amazon here: here: being exposed to hot furnace flue gases for 24 years, the blower wheel on my old inducer motor would not come off the motor shaft, the set screw wouldn't even budge, everything was rusted into place. I ended up clamping the other end of the motor shaft in a vise, and cutting off the inducer blower wheel end of the shaft with a hacksaw so I could access and unscrew the bolts holding the motor to the mounting plate, in order to re-use the mounting plate. The only picky issue is that the black plastic small cooling fan for the motor was molded slightly off-kilter, when it spins it wobbles just a bit, but not enough to matter. But if you spin the motor slowly you will notice it. It functions well though and doesn't affect the performance or balance of the motor.I am very happy with this inducer motor! It runs very quietly and works perfectly.

This inducer motor does not run quietly but it does work in my old furnace. The motor itself vibrates slightly when running, even without the squirrel cage or cooling fan installed on the shaft. That unbalance produces a noticeable sound in the ductwork before the blower kicks in, but so far the motor’s performance seems adequate and it feels marvelous to have heat!Full disclosure: I ordered this Barbqtime 318984-753 Furnace Inducer Draft Motor Kit through the Amazon Vine program. As a user of the product, I have done my best to provide an honest review.

I got the Barbqtime HC21ZE123A Furnace Inducer Blower Motor to replace a bad unit in my rental. It installed without any major issues and is working as expected so far. As for the build quality, I’m not completely sure yet—it seems decent, but only time will tell. For now, it’s doing the job, and my furnace is back up and running. If anything changes, I’ll report back. But for now, it looks like a good replacement!
