I am setting up a kitchen area in a studio apartment and this heat-resistant mat is the perfect size to protect the table from the heat generated by various appliances, such as a hot plate and convection oven. The mat is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The thickness is perfect - the mat doesn't stick up from the table to the point where it traps dirt around the edges - it works perfectly for my intent and looks great on the table.

We just had our kitchen renovated with gorgeous solid surface counter tops. We wanted to keep the surface undamaged from heat and scratches. I ordered 2 of these mats. I have one under a pizza over, and the other under the air fryer. These mats are great!

So pleased with this heat resistant mat. My counter top is well protected. It doesn't get warm which is something I was concerned with this while using my fryer and it looks good.

I don’t think this works at all. My counter top is still getting too hot to touch under the mat. Got this because i have tile countertops and I’m afraid they will crack from the heat but i am going to have to purchase a different one as this one isn’t protecting my countertop from heat at all it seems.

This mat came folded into approximately 6X8â€sections and had a very unpleasant odour. I unfolded and left it outside to air for 24 hours with little to no effect. Gave it a vinegar bath and tried to flatten the folds a bit in the warm water. I have it lying outside again to air and flatten out. Not very hopeful but trying anyway.Cannot recommend.
