I live in PA and we get long rough winters and this was on 24 hrs 7 days a week. And it worked as advertised. Dependable and safe. Had no problems with it and will be ready for use next winter. It really helped.

The snow melts fast, no longer afraid of falling, very useful

These mats really work. They were easy to install--just roll out and plug in. I gave it 4 stars because I don't know how durable they are. I forgot to turn on the mats overnight and it snowed. I didn't time it, but it was fully melted within an hour. As you can see from the before and after pictures, there is no snow on the stairs or on the landing. (The stair mats are under the rubber treads so you can't see them, but they are there.) No more shoveling!

I use this on my back porch for my feral cats. It is on a covered porch. Seems very well made and is durable. I put the water bowl next to it and it didn't freeze (Temps in the low twenties)

It does melt the snow, but there is no traction and the water just sits on it. It is basically a winter slip-and-slide. Easier to walk on ice. Would not recommend.

I have an ice dam over the front door and precast concrete steps. The new steps can’t be salted, even high quality calcium chloride pellets makes them pit. The mats are an excellent safety answer. Be careful to securely tighten the electrical cords. One time I did not and water tripped my outlet.

This 30 x 48 mat worked for a month then started to blow the breaker. Would not recommend this product
