Very cool concept, works well enough but definitely going to need to purchase more to get the full effect from them.

The 20 x 30 matt cycles between 108 degrees F and 118 F.The matt draws 3.45 amps at 120v therefore is a 420W matt. The documentation is wrong, it does not give state the correct total power consumption for a series of 4 matts, it is off by a factor of 10x.See the picture. The matt is of decent quality, but floppy. I expected the elements to be molded into the mat and have amore uniform feel, but it is a sandwich of two rubber mats with elements somehow held in place.doubles as a feet heater when snow is not in the forcast. The timer can be set from 1 - 10 hours in one hour increments. This might not do the job if you are out of the office for two days. Not bad, but I expected better.

This is a small rug, not much bigger than a bathroom rug, but it was what I needed for a small trailer porch. I needed to be able to step outside without slipping and ending up on my backside. This allowed me to have steady footing so I could shovel my small deck. It also helped when re-entering my house , stamping the snow off my boots and keeping my floors relatively snow free. I would love to see this in many more sizes. Slips and falls are no fun, so this rug in a few more sizes would benefit me greatly.

This heated mat arrives rolled up, so it tends to curl at the edges when you first unbox it. However, it is a high-quality mat that feels heavy and durable. It offers 10 timer options and heats up very quickly. Although I haven't had a chance to test it in the snow yet, I have no doubt that it will effectively clear any snow that falls on it. You can purchase additional mats and connect them together, which I would love to do, but they are a bit pricey. I'm hoping that using just one mat will reduce the amount of snow that enters my home. It works well; just make sure you have an outlet nearby.

I'm not sure if this is for places that get a ton of snow like where I live. I hooked it up right before a snowstorm recently and while it did melt any oncoming snow, it didn't melt the snow on the ground already. I also think you need a decent number of days to make any real difference.
