We highly recommend this eyelet tool kit. The eyelet plier tool is not cheaply made, the weight and sturdiness of it is similar to other high end handheld tools in my toolbox.The magnetic molds on the tool, makes creating eyelets at awkward angles easy as it holds both pieces of the grommet in place.

This is an okay tool. It's heavy and pretty simple (which is good). Ignore the instructions that come with it, though, and use the ones shown on the product page.Pros:Easy and intuitive to setup/ useComes with quite a few grommetsCons:Not adjustable as far as sizeHard to get the sides to line up (see pic)You must often manually poke holes first. If you don't, and the tool doesn't cut through, it's very hard to get the holes to look good. So you need to do a test piece of material to see if you need to poke a hole before using the grommet tool, because you will not want to try to cut one afterwards.The instructions in the box are not correct. If you put the washer on the upper die upside-down as shown in the instructions included with the tool, you will smash the grommet onto the upper part and render the tool unusable until you are able to get it off. I tried it so you don't have to.I feel like this is a decent tool for certain applications, but it is more clever in design than in execution. It'll stay in the garage to use for tarp repair.

I liked the easy use of the product. I made a birthday banner for travel to another state!! The grommets we easy to install and hang.

I thought the grommets were going to be sturdier. But they are very thin like and easily is ruined if you press too hard on them.The Grommet Press Handheld Eyelet Plier itself is not bad at all just wished the material was better on the grommets.I used it on a couple of tarps and hope that they last longer than what I think they may.

This is a great tool for putting grommets in. I’ve been in upholstery business for over 25 years and can’t believe this tool is as good as it is. Highly recommend this tool

This is not the item in the ad or on the box. This is not magnetic, not a punch and won't even set a grommet with nothing else. Pure junk!Unusable

Zange wurde für zusätzliche Ösen an einer Abdeckplane für unser Holzlager benötigt und da hat sie einen sehr guten Job gemacht. Position abgezeichnet, mit dem beiliegenden Stanzwerkzeug schnell ein Loch gemacht, Niete und Scheibe auf die Zange aufgebracht, zugedrückt und fertig! Extrem einfach und zuverlässig zu bedienen! Einziger Nachteil: Zange lässt sich leider zur Aufbewahrung nicht feststellen, so dass sie immer auf maximaler Breite verbleibt. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau, mittels Kabelbinder etc. (siehe Foto) lässt sich hier schnell Abhilfe schaffen.Klare Produktentwicklung!

They work great. Bought them to go through some nylon webbing. Unfortunately, the webbing was too thick and even the supplied punch wouldn’t go through, (kind of expected it). Melted a hole through with a soldering iron, sealing the edges at the same time and then inserted the rivets. Very happy with finished job. (Image shows sample webbing, failed attempts either side of rivet and rivet in place using soldering iron).
