Have a 130 lb cane corso that is so much a part of the family and my best friend. We live close to a busy state hwy. Twice before buying these, when he’s been outside, snap clips have opened from his collar. He doesnt run off, but that hwy is deadly. These simply will not release accidentally. Even though he’s big, he doesnt pull hard. I’m sure these are more than strong enough for a dog that does lunge though. They open easily, with one hand, even when dirty or in freezing conditions. Love em!Update: had these for a full year now. No issues. Still operate perfectly. No binding from dirt or icing.

Product is durable. I use it for my camping trips, to hold my keys, everyday use all around the house. I even use it to hold my Ar-15. Absolutely love it.

I have started making some intentional choices for the items I buy and use. Let's be honest, most keychains are total garbage. I use this with a titanium ring. The lock is secure and I can attach it to a belt loop on my shorts and never have to worry about losing my keys. I also figure if I ever need to do any rope or rigging work (which occasionally happens as I do work in a theatre venue), I got a spare 'beaner' with me at all times.

I purchased 2 sets of these. These feel well made, are light, and good looking. I'm sure they're as strong as claimed, and they'd be excellent for a wide variety of uses. Unfortunately, the quality seems to be a little inconsistent, because the screw gate on one of them will not close all the way. Feels like the threads are probably crossed, so there is no way I'll be able to use the lock on that one.
