Our RV has a nice awning with no poles. That's great on calm days but few days seem to be calm. We tried stakes to give it a little extra support with poor results. This kit has everything we needed. The twist in anchors are very strong, The materials are heavy duty and have gussets at stress points. The springs let the whole thing give a little which makes a big difference. We can leave the awning out longer without less worry. It's on every trip now.

Wow, this seems like a pretty nice awning tie down kit to me. I have a manual awning on my camper and all that's needed to invoke a gale is deploy the awning. I wouldn't leave it out in a constant strong wind even with a tie down kit, but for those occasional gusts and borderline situations this should provide some extra peace of mind. In the past, I've just reluctantly used the awning pull strap to tie off to a weight or railing, but this kit includes different options that should make things much easier now. The springs are pretty stiff and I might continue using bungee cords instead but they're certainly nice to have in the package; and, the anchors are substantial and might be a little tough to auger into hard ground. But I think the idea here is to have various options for various situations. Overall, in my opinion, the product description and pictures fairly represents the kit that I received and I'm pleased with it. Thanks and good luck!

I have a camping awning mounted on the side of my truck to use for camping, tailgating, hanging out, etc...It came with very small stakes, and cord to secure it in the wind, but it isn't enough as when it does get windy, the awing will pull the stakes out of the ground. This kit fixes that. With nice strong anchors, and good sized straps. Plus the springs help cushion the awning when a big wind gust kicks up. It is also small enough that I can leave the whole kit in my truck all the time, so I'll always have it near when I decide to use the awning.
