Made of good quality stainless steel with a brushed finish and the handle is hollow to reduce weight but is still a good quality heavy stainless steel. A good sized stainless steel loop is located at the end to hang up this brush.

◆4. The silicone bristles can be removed from the end of this basting brush which is usually not necessary for normal cleaning, and this is typical of this type of brush. I love this about this brush because once in a while I want to remove it to thoroughly clean it separately from the handle. I grap all of the bristles and pull with steady pressure to remove. Just make sure it is pushed all of the way in when you start basting, it holds securely and does an excellent job.

Your 12 inches from any heat with the handle length. It' s stainless steel which means it will last basically forever. One reviewer said his handle rusted, that reviewer is probably a troll, stainless does not rust. The silicone brush holds the barbecue sauce and applies it in a nice and easy stroke. You don't have any issues with adding bristles to your food. Some other reviewers complained the silicone bristles wore out much to quickly. Again, if you get to close to the heat that could happen. HQY sells a replacement 3 pack of the silicone bristles for $5.99. They pop in and out in a second. I bought the brush, and the 3 pack. For a grand total of $12.98, I have the handle and four sets of bristles. I can do multiple types of sauce or baste while I am cooking different things. Just pop the brushes in and out, and then clean them up after things are done. They clean real easy. No question, this is the best application tool that I have ever owned.

This looks like a very nice brush. Very sturdy & sleek looking with nice silicone bristles. However it’s not as long as I like for a bbq basting brush. I would recommend it if you’re ok with that.

Basting brushes are available everywhere, but I loved the contemporary look of this one. And,when I saw the price, I immediately ordered it. Would definitely recommend it for basting and BBQing!

Water collects behind brush head and handle. Over time the brush head detaches and is very annoy

Great little basting brush! I was surprised and pleased with the quality, especially if you factor in price. The handle is firm and you can hook it on your BBQ and the bristles are silicone and can be removed for cleaning. Overall this brush does the job for my grilling needs. Very happy with it.

Really cheap quality, the silicone is super loose.. better off buying one made in North America
