This tool is perfect!! It cut the stone perfectly so I could install hardwood flooring underneath. Instructions were spot on and tool did all of the work. I actually had a subcontractor ask to rent this from me to do another job.

Ive been a contractor for about 35 years now and have done well over 1x million SF of various flooring types.I also have a Crane 835 which is a direct comparison to this igooo model. While the Crane is a bit better built and has no plastic components involved in the settings, this is a VERY good alternative to that unit.Height and depth settings are what matter on this type of tool and this works just fine in this regard.Undercutting is a SKILLED task that requires knowledge on top of the right (This) tool.I had to run 3/4" Koa to a brick fireplace mantle, as well throughout many doorways.I have ALWAYS undercut and installed flooring under jambs / mantles etc.... cutting to shape and covering w/ shoe or quarter is to me just not the professional manner in which to install. All that said... this igbo worked perfectly and has power just like the Crane model mentioned. I did not expect this to perform as well but it did and I was extremely happy with this saws performance! The brick mantle cut was perfectly straight and gave the measured 1/16" clearance I set for - no issues and perfect finishAll jams the same... spot on.I pull base and re-install ve cutting so this was not used in that application but I am sure would do the job no issues....As with all of these saws any interior corners need to be finish cut by hand, I use a multi tool on a scrap piece of flooring that I planed down by the blade thickness to get inside corners, and with this saw that will still be necessary, but that is with any undercut...The only issue I have with this product is the case, it is Not blow molded and this saw is not a snug fit in a shaped case. It is just a pice of foam that is cut to shape. SO.... This saw WILL move in the case (Not a bad case otherwise) and if treated roughly this saw COULD be damaged inside this case... I will do a retro fit to hold this in but do wish the case was just designed right, that would make Crane worry!!!!If you need an undercut, this is a great option! and takes Crane blades fyi which are easy to find..

When I picked up the box this came in, I didn’t remember ordering a boat anchor... this thing is a beast. Though I have a home workshop full of tools, for cutting door jamb bottoms when doing flooring installs, I have always just used a small handsaw designed for that purpose. This saw is so much better. My son and I are installing new flooring in a large room at the home he recently purchased, so I got to try this out on two doorways. It was my first time using it, so it took a little while to figure everything out and get comfortable with it.The engineers put a lot of thought into designing this... it is extremely versatile. You can adjust it six ways from Sunday and set it to get the exact cuts you need. Weighing right at 12 pounds, it is very stable so your cuts will be smooth.I sliced a little off the bottom of four jambs and the covering trim work... the cuts look great, and we were able to tuck the flooring in place.I will just be a casual user of this, but if you are in the flooring business... it does seem durable and should handle a lot of abuse. It comes in a sturdy plastic carry case that has plenty of foam padding and latches securely.

I needed to replace the flooring in my living room along with some of the subfloor. The old subfloor especially I needed to be cut right up to the wall. This made removal and replacement so much easier and faster. I also had to undercut the fireplace and some door frames. This handled those perfectly and never slowed down even on the stone of the fireplace. The cuts were clean and consistent. I didn't know I needed this tool until I got it and now I'm thinking of other ways I can use it to make my projects easier.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Heavy-Duty Undercut Saw Jamb Saw Kit, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my DIY projects. As someone who's not exactly a seasoned carpenter, I was a bit apprehensive about using a powerful saw like this. But, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. The 2.5HP motor is a beast, providing high-speed cutting that made quick work of even the toughest materials. I was able to cut through wood, tiles, and concrete with ease, thanks to the included alloy and diamond blades. One of the features that really impressed me was the unique height adjustment system as it made it easy to adjust the height and keep the blade parallel to the floor, ensuring precise cuts every time. The saw's heavy-duty design and durable body gave me confidence in its ability to withstand even the most demanding projects. And, with a 13ft cord, I had plenty of flexibility to move around my workspace. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this undercut saw. Its ease of use, powerful performance, and versatility make it an essential tool for any DIY enthusiast or professional contractor, 5 Stars!

I order this item as an emergency because the one that we use finally gave up after 4 years and this one was the only one that would arrive on time for our next job. The packaging was good but when we tried to lower the blade the plastic piece that is used to raise or lower the blade kept spinning and the blade wasn't lowering. It came out to be that the lowering gears were broken inside, so i had to remove the cover and used it without a cover (VERY DANGEROUS) i didnt have an option we were at the job site already.
