This trimmer works excellently for trimming heather and grasses around our water feature and has also been used for some small bushes. However, due to its design, it struggles with any wood-type plants like pine with limbs over 1/8" thick. For a 20-volt tool, I expected it to be more powerful. The design of the handle makes it challenging to coordinate the safety switch with the on/off button when using one hand. Despite these criticisms, I gave it 4 stars because it performs well for lightweight trimming and shaping. Plus, it comes with two batteries that, so far, stay charged for long than expected.

Despite how light, compact, and portable this tool is, it runs strong and has sharp blades that efficiently trim the bushes in my yard. I also like how there are two blades and two batteries.

Listen, after fighting with corded trimmers and gas powered monsters for years, this little battery powered wonder has made things a lot easier! I spent the weekend tackling my jungle of boxwoods and ornamental bushes, and I'm genuinely impressed. I knocked out my entire yard without that dreaded mid trim battery swap, and it's so light I didn't feel like I'd done an arm workout afterward. Both blade attachments came in super handy. I used the long one for the general bush cleanup and switched to the shorter blade for detailing around my flower beds. It might struggle with thick branches, but for regular maintenance and keeping things tidy? Absolute perfection. Do yourself a favor and make trimming a lot easier with this as it gets a definite recommend from me!

I have a few boxwood plants that I try to keep trimmed. Before this little trimmer I did it by hand with clippers. It took forever and by the end of it my hands would be super sore. So I got this trimmer. It is super light and easy to use. Though it does like to bounce around a little due to how light it is and can be a struggle to make super smooth cuts. It comes with two batteries, and a charger. It has two different blades a long one ( which is what I tend to use) and a short clipper. The clipper clips decently, but does struggle with thicker patches and occasionally will miss stems so I will have to go back over the plant several times. But, it is worlds faster and easier than doing it by hand.

I'm in love with this trimmer! I primarily use it for shrubbery upkeep post major trimming. Being battery powered allows this trimmer to be super portable while still being fairly light weight. The battery power of this trimmer has proven to be long-lasting yet it comes with 2 batteries! As a result, there is rarely a job that goes unaddressed or unfinished. Love that this tool allows me to tackle something as soon as I notice it! It also does not require me to drag out an extra equipment like electrical cords. Comes with everything needed to start a job right out of the box including charged batteries. Definitely recommend!
