A safe and effective alternative to choker collars, it puts even pressure around the neck, about every half inch, pinching the skin in a band. This collar does not apply direct pressure to the trachea, so you can train your dog with little or no tugging, jerking, or pulling. The addition of a center plate connector allows the middle link to be configured symmetrically, enabling the prongs to tighten in the same direction. Made of high quality German steel, The size of this collar can be adjusted by adding or removing the links individually. Features: interlocking links, each link equipped with two blunt prongs slips over dog's head for easy on, easy off slightly beveled prong tips easy to increase or decrease in size. Links sold separately. These collars come in four sizes Small 2.25 mm x 16 inches, Medium 3 mm x 21-22 inches, 3.2 mm x 23 inches and 4 mm x 25 inches. Sizing instructions: collar should fit snuggly just below the dog's ears, measure the circumference of dog's neck and add 3 inches. Please note: Not recommended for light color dogs.

It's the best collar that I've found. My German Sheppard does great walking on it and doesn't pull like she used to. Great quality and prongs aren't sharp like other brands are.

Fantastic little collar. Love the quick release. The prongs are easy to remove, it stays together, doesn't fall apart, and it gets the job done. Most importantly it stops pulling when positioned up high and tight, about two fingers snug right behind the ears. I've even found this size works better than the short link for my Spaniel.

Lightweight but strong. Works great on my 3 year old shepherd! In addition to the collar, I purchased the clip that makes it so simple to both put the collar on & take it off. I did not have that for the original & much heavier collar. This makes it so effortless. You’ll never struggle to get it on or off. Quality, weight, use of ease… I highly recommend to anyone!

This collar is awesome because when using it my dog never pulls, even with the collar hanging somewhat loosely around his neck. I like the quick release because you don’t have to worry about pinching any of the prongs to put on or take off which is great for your hands, and I think will also help with longevity and the collar lasting for a long time because the prongs won’t loosen over time by opening over and over again (we walk every day 2x a day so think of how often you’d be pinching the prongs without the quick release). Metal seems high quality and it says made in Germany.

OMG…this is a game changer! To be honest, I had heard of prong collars but stayed away from them because they seemed scary. I wanted my almost 80 lb Labradoodle to be better on the leash, but I didn’t want to hurt her! She had been pulling and extremely reactive to other dogs and to people. She is very friendly but it was embarrassing and difficult to control…especially for my wife and my 12 year old daughter. I used this collar with our trainer and almost immediately it was like we had a different dog. Not reactive. Calmly walked. It was like night and day. I took her to Home Depot yesterday for additional exposure and training. She barely paid attention to the other people in the store. She sat when I told her to and walked beautifully. She is four years old and I feel like I waited too long to purchase this collar. BTW - I tried a bunch of leashes and harnesses prior to this collar. I would definitely recommend!

In the past I've always hated the way you have to put on and take off prong collars. It can sometimes be difficult especially on the larger colors for larger dogs as the metal is stronger and harder to squeeze to make them disconnect. This one has a well designed clamp that is much easier to connect and disconnect but not so easy to disconnect that will come off easily when your dog is wearing it. I posted pictures that show how to route the chain and connect it. I would definitely recommend this prong collar.
