Though I am sure that these are not in the same league as Hardinge or other "name brand" collets, they came well packaged, very nice fit and finish, and have worked smoothly and precisely in my mill. The size range is perfect for my tool-holding needs.

I have used almost every one of these collets in my milling machine. Overall they work great. I would have given a five star rating but on two of the collets the exterior machining is not as smooth as the other 9 in the set. This does not appear to have impacted the functionality of the tool, just the appearance. Overall, very good product at a reasonable price.

6 piece 1/8 to 3/4 R8 collet set very accurate. Less than half a tick runout on a 0.0005†dial test indicator, I’d say around 0.0003†runout or less for all six. Clean drawbar threads and no detectable internal burrs. Excellent fit with end mills, fit snug but still move freely prior to tightening drawbar.

Collets were well protected in individual plastic tubes, wrapped in plastic to retain oil coating on collets. Excellent sheen finish on entire set. Precision individual sizing. Fit perfectly on my older Enco milling machine.Would recommend. Jerry

The best fitting R8 collet I’ve bought from Amazon yet. Fits the quill perfectly. I did chase the threads as I always do and clean it completely with brake cleaner.I would recommend this collet to anyone.
