I like these. Someone mentioned these didn't have "handles". I have the smaller set, too, and those black plastic tubes aren't handles, they're tubes to keep the tiny (I also am using the plus set because it's what I find most handy. For example, the .242 will tell me that a drilled or reamed hole is at least .242, so that it can be used for whatever pin or device that needs to fit into that.Overall, it's a nice set of pins, it's a nice case, and everything is labeled well. For the price it's a great deal.

These are perfect for caliper users trying to find the dimensions of an opening. For reloading they are close enough to measure your case mouth for bullet seating. When measured with calibrated micrometers they come in about 0.0005 smaller but that number varies with the pin. You pay for the precision you need.

Bought these to check ACTUAL size of carburetor jets as marked numbers do not relate to actual size. Using these gage pins will help Tremendously in tuning. 5 Stars!!!

I’m not a machinist but I can say the quality looks good. I needed to be able to accurately measure bores for consistency and this set does the trick for me. I initially bought the plus set and realized that I should have ordered the minus. So I recommend getting this minus first if you’re new to gaging.

Quite happy with my pin gauge set and for the price and from what I can measure they are more than accurate enough for anything I am likely to run into as I am just a hobbyist not building Space Shuttles. I checked a hand full of pins randomly for size from the set and all were spot on with my Mitutoyo micrometer. I am working on getting a full set up to one inch, that gets pricey but it is an investment and given proper care should last indefinitely.

The gauges seem well made. Diameters are -.0002" to -0.0004" on a small sample. It's good enough for occasional use, but I have to check with a micrometer, if I need accurate measurements.
