Measures spot on, very useful for indicating a rifle bore prior to chambering or threading the muzzle. It can be done without, but a gage pin is far easier than chasing lands and grooves.

Performs as designed. I use it as a verification standard for my calipers; the 0.356" dia. is in the range of most projectiles I use so it fits my application nominally.

I ordered a 0.387+ go pin gauge. It comes in as exactly shown from picture, no cert, used, sticky, no brand. I can not even put it in use. Garbage.

Wax paper with the anit-rust coating was fused to the pins, I had to a bench grinder with a brass wire brush wheel to clean them up. I would have saved time by running over to my local shop supply store.
