I bought a pin gauge set for next to nothing at auction many year's ago ( before Amazon was a thing) because it was missing 2 pins. They apparently we're made out of unobtainieum as I couldn't find replacements. Thanks to Amazon I found both at A very good price and now my set is complete.

Surprised at the quality of these gauges. They are well made, smooth, with not overly rounded, smooth edges. They are well marked with the sizes (even the very small ones in the kits). So far, so good.

Spec calls for -0.0002 tolerance and I'm betting it is. Three of my mics have it coming in a .4997 and another one of my mics has it coming in a .4997+ (guessing about .00005) all mics are non-digital, this is a somewhat conditioned space that at best is varying only 3 to 4 degree's F so it's not like I'm in a clean room and controlled space which would easily put the gage out of spec by no fault of it's own.I am VERY pleased with the gage.
