This flapper is a perfect replacement for my older 2” Toto toilet flapper. No more water running and the fit is solid which makes a good seal. Easy to install, I gave the longevity 3 stars since it’s brand new and I have no long term experience with it. Note, This flapper doesn’t fit a 3” opening.

I tried three different universal flappers. They were usually the $3 to $5 kind. All of the flappers made it so you had to hold down the handle to get it to flush. I adjusted the chains until there was no slack. I adjusted everything. Finally I took a picture of the old flapper and Google searched the image. If you notice their is no name brand on it, it's just a star. This flapper actually flushes when you just hit the flusher! I never thought I would be so happy about a toilet flapper, but there you go!

It took a few tries to get the right size - but - this once seems to fit and ghost flushes have gone away. Installation was easy. I can’t speak to the longevity as I just put it in. I have ordered a second for another Toto toilet that seems to have decided that ghost flushes are entertaining. The flap seems a bit pricey but I guess that it is what it is and for sure, it’s less expensive than calling in a plumber.

This product works.I have an old model of american standards in my basement I has 2.4 inch openingI could not get a 2 inch, because it could be too small and the 3inch flappers might have not fit well.This product worked well for me.Installed it.Let the tank to fill.Turned off water to ser if tank will remain full or not.After a few weeks tank is still full
