As a family who travels often, I was interested in looking for a blackout tent for over my 1 year old daughter's travel crib. I came across this new product and was impressed with the affordable price and small carrying case. I decided to try it out and I'm so happy I did. I can’t recommend this travel tent enough.Easy to set up: This blackout tent is light and sets up in minutes. No tools, no fuss, just pure, blissful darkness at your command. We own a beach chair with the same pull apart poles. It is a genius concept as it allows you to create a large tent frame from a compact bag of poles within a short amount of time. It fit perfectly over our Guava Lotus travel crib and will even fit over our toddler blowup mattress, when the time comes.Watch the video: For the first use, I would recommend watching their video. It was super simple to set up but one quick video really helped me the first time around. After that, I was able to set it up and take it apart within minutes.Completely darkens a hotel room: We recently put the blackout tent to the test in a hotel room. Let me tell you, it was an absolute lifesaver! My 1 year old slept soundly with a sound machine in the top pocket as my kids and I were all watching a movie in our hotel beds with headphones on.Small and lightweight carrying case: This blackout tent comes with a handy carrying case, making it perfect for travel. It’s compact and lightweight, fitting easily into my suitcase which was very important to me.Durable and machine-washable: The material is durable and it feels like it can handle the wear and tear of even the most adventurous trips.Baby approved: My daughter absolutely loves it! She got a kick out of retreating to her own little fortress of darkness. It's helped her adjust to a new sleep environment much more easily and she slept through the night, which was a win for us.So, if you're looking for a way to guarantee a good night's sleep, as much as you can with a little one, I highly recommend this blackout tent. It’s an affordable option to hopefully assist your little one to have uninterrupted sleep in a new environment.Happy travels and sweet dreams!

As a parent, finding versatile, reliable products that can make life easier is like striking gold, and the DayDreamer by hiccapop is no exception! Designed with both parents and kids in mind, this travel crib blackout cover has quickly become a must-have in my household. Here’s why:Perfect for Sleep, Travel, and PlaytimeThe DayDreamer has been an absolute game-changer for our family, especially when we’re on the go. Whether it’s nap time at home or during visits to Grandma’s, this product creates the ideal dark and cozy sleep pod for my little one. It blocks out over 90% of light, transforming any bright room into a peaceful sleep oasis, which is crucial for keeping my baby’s sleep schedule on track, even in unfamiliar environments.Ideal for Taller ParentsOne feature I particularly love is how perfect the DayDreamer is for taller parents using playards or travel cribs. The side access design makes it easy to reach in and out without bending awkwardly, which has saved my back more times than I can count.Superior Ventilation and SafetySafety and comfort are top priorities, and hiccapop really delivers. The breathable fabric, combined with 6 strategically placed air vents, ensures my baby stays cool and comfortable while sleeping. There’s even a fan pocket (for fans under 7â€) to optimize air circulation on warmer days. And as a parent who loves monitoring my child, the mesh camera pocket is genius! It allows for a clear view of my baby at all times, so I can check in without disturbing their sleep.Compact and Travel-FriendlyThis travel blackout cover is incredibly compact and fits easily in its carry bag, which makes it perfect for packing in suitcases or tossing in the car. It takes up minimal space and has been such a lifesaver on trips out of town or weekend sleepovers at Grandma’s.Effortless SetupOne of the best parts? The setup is frustration-free! The color-coded clips make it super easy to attach to a playard, and the bottomless design means it fits over most playards and travel cribs (though it won’t fit over traditional baby cribs). Dual access doors allow for easy entry, so my older child can even use it as a fun hangout space during playtime.Durable and Thoughtfully DesignedThe materials feel high-quality, with a combination of 85% polyester and 15% spandex that is both durable and easy to clean. hiccapop truly thought of everything, from the non-slip, scratch-resistant feet to the side openings that allow dual access for both parents and older kids. It’s clear that this product was designed with real-life parent and child needs in mind.Final VerdictIf you’re looking for a sleep and travel solution that’s practical, safe, and easy to use, the DayDreamer by hiccapop is it. It’s a must-have for any parent who values convenience and quality, and it’s backed by hiccapop’s lifetime guarantee. Whether for sleepovers, travel, or just creating a calm, dark space at home, the DayDreamer has truly become every parent’s best friend. Highly recommend!

The tent went up easy and let me tell you the material is thick like thick. It's so practical and very small when you unbox it you are literally carrying it in a small bag. The tent has so many little features with window, door, pouches to hold sound machines and fans and the vents to let air in. It's super roomy inside literally my boys age 4,8,and 12 when in there to watch a movie on the iPad, and the best feature it's that it was completely dark in our bright sunroom that we had it set up in. I like that it has an opening for a pack n play or the door for my toddler to sleep in there as a tent or make it into a fort that they call it now... Can’t wait to use this for our outdoor trips. Worth the buy highly recommend.... ease of folding down fast, super durable and the color black is so dark literally.. blackout you can't see anything from the outside...

My 3yo tends to have a very light sleep. I bought this for a trip, a bit worried because of the price… but it is really well made, really dark in there and exactly the size of his normal bed. The vents are still dark which is great, and every little detail has been carefully made. So he asked to have it on his normal bed and now he doesn’t wake up super super early even though the sun is up really early now.So when we will travel, he will have his usual bedroom with him.

This was a game changer. We had the blackout that fits to our BabyBjorn travel cot but it wasnt very good. This however is coming on every single future trip! Black out for sure, we had the TV on next to it, pockets are great for sound machine and camera. Perfect!

The material is soft and breathable but definitely need an aircon or a fan. Otherwise it’s too stuffy inside the tent for baby. I use aircon aroudn 22 c and even if it’s cold in the room, inside the tent it’s much hotter and stuff. So poke your head in and check first if the temperature inside the tent is comfortable for your baby before placing the baby inside. Otherwise a great product. I use it everyday at home and plan to bring it on trips.
