Rather than paying $15 for a replacement part, (14†long) I was able to cut the length and melt the ends together to create the identical band. With a 10’ length I am able to have multiple replacements if necessary down the road.

This pruduct worked exactly as I had hoped. It i was easy to cut and to melt with a soldering iron and to glue the melted ends together to make a belt for a small dc motor-driven pulley. I recommend this product.

This is very tough material, strong and hard to cut. Joining the ends was easy, using a hot air de-soldering tool set to 300 C. and finishing when cooled with a dremel grinder. Be careful not to heat too much, so the joint cools straight and smooth.
