These are nice Shackles. The threaded bolts thread easily on and off. They are a good heavy weight construction, but you can tell these are not like some of the heavier duty offroading d ring shackles. The set that I keep with my recovery strap are rated at 10X the strength of these.I will not be using these for offroard recovery activities, but I will be using them to secure things to my trailer and various other cargo jobs. I also have just discovered that this is the perfect attachment for my lawn mower tow hitch. So I have just attached one to my lawn mower and this worked great last weekend for attaching the carts and attachments I have for my yard.I pictured these installed on my recovery strap so you could see the size. These are smaller than my others and were a tight fit to get onto the loop of the recovery strap.I am VERY happy with these D Ring shackles.

For the price, these are good shackles. I have some Crosby shackles so these “copy cat†look-a likes caught my eye. These are painted to look like Crosby, but they’re not. These are not bad, but I wouldn’t confuse them with professional rigging gear.If I you have an occasional need, these are a good economical option. If you have a regular need and your livelihood depends on it, you may want to try these at this price knowing they may work well or you may have to spend a little more later.The pin screws in and out easily. I cannot do a stress test but do not doubt that these will perform well within the specifications. I’m glad I have these.

Don't have a specific use for these but they come in handy when moving heavy objects. Picked them up to go with my larger 3/4" and 1" shackles. They have lots of uses not just for construction. The pins thread in well with no binding. The shackles seem to be uniformly made. No complaints at all.

These are great little shackles that will add to my rigging supplies. They are as pictured, silver and red. The fasteners turn easily. If you are not an experienced rigger use extra caution. Do not over tighten as they will tighten during lifting and as with any type of device used with heavy loads make sure it is sized for the weight you are working with and you will be happy. As for me, they are a great size as I usually lift around 1000 lbs and rarely around a ton but the crane is sized for 5 ton so should my needs change in the future I will need to pick the appropriate sized rigging for the job. These are perfect for any small jobs because they are not too heavy and yet big enough to accommodate straps or cables. I would get these again.

These D ring shackles are exactly as described in the listing. They will be perfect for trailer safety chain attachment as well as light duty towing/rescue events. It is nice that they also fit on the factory tow/rescue hooks on the front of my truck. They would also work perfectly for pulling shrubs out with your tow strap. You always hope things like this aren't needed, but they are indispensable when needed. I don't see any issues with the design or quality and would acquire more if needed.

These Kicomot D Ring shackles are small enough to handle quick and easy, yet will handle typical needs on standard off road utility vehicles. We have one on the front and rear trailer hitches of our Kubota RTV. We also use them to connect a 2" nylon strap to the small winch on the headframe of RTV bed. ~ The Duffian
