I have been stressing these things lately to way past their working load on a project at my house. I can still tighten and loosen the pin by hand. Now in the field I flat abuse them. I have deformed them to the point where the only way off is with the hot wrench. These are legit. For heavier stuff... Buy the right size for the job. I'm a professional test dummy.

Not sure why the pin is only available in blue. I painted it black. Like another reviewer, I couldn’t find any isolators for a shackle this big, so I wrapped it in paracord. I think it looks nice. I know I’ll definitely have to re wrap it after actually using it.I have an 06 F250 and I used these on my Road Armor Stealth series front bumper.

Great service from Temco. First order was lost in transit, and it was replaced promptly. Shackles are galvanized, which are better in the long run than painted, threads on pins are smooth and easy to screw in or out.

this item is massively big and heavy. this sized shackle is mostly used on ships not vehicles. - maybe semi trucks? not designed for typical pick up truck pulling and winching with snatch blocks. only concern would be the threading. threading seems like soft aluminum could easily strip or be damaged. aside from threading concern. this seems like a solid product

I use these to secure my boat to a mooring, or a piling in winter. They are well made with good fits.

Got this to hook on the draw bar of my 50 HP tractor. Works great and very stout. I tried to buy local but I couldn't find one this size that wasn't 3x the price of the 2 pack.
