After the tech installed the unit, the main burner would not light. Checked the thermopile with a meter, it was NG. New thermopile from the tech cost me $80. Didn’t have time to return the defective unit. A lot of wasted time and expense.

This worked fine for a day, and then it would not turn on my fireplace even though the pilot light was on and at set a maximum. The thermopile generated 270mV which is not enough for my valve. Not sure if other valves can tolerate such a now output voltage.

This was a perfect fir for my Temco fireplace. Screwed to the burner with no modifications. All connections hooked up directly with no modifications. Pilot light is strong, and works flawlessly.

This fit like OEM and worked great, however, after a few hours of use, the fireplace main flame went out. I thought it was this unit again. Turns out when I jumpered the outside poles, essentially re-routing the on/off switch, the fireplace worked like a charm. It was a faulty wall switch that was my problem and not this unit as it turns out.
