It seems that using a thermostat to control the stove impacts igniter life - I seem to get 12-15 months out of one - 3rd party or manufacturer part. This one fits perfectly and works the same for much less $$. Can change it in 15 minutes.

Bought this to replace our 2 year old igniter that came with the pellet stove. I watched a video on YouTube on how to change it. Igniter works well. My tips… make sure the igniter is pretty close to the end of the housing. I had it back a little too far so it takes a little longer to light than I’d like… not the product’s fault, a learning curve on my part. I also couldn’t get the housing back in flush for the screws to engage, so I took out the ash pot and pulled it into place from the front. Wish I had thought of it sooner. It was pretty easy to replace even for someone who is just learning. Will get this igniter again if/when we need another.

My stove called for 6in but wanted to try this 4in one cause it was way cheaper. Works just fine.

This ignitor was purchased to replace one in a Master Forge pellet stove. It works well, it is 1/8" longer than the original, but this was no surprise because the length was accurate in the description. However, 3/8 diameter is NOT accurate! It is somewhere between 3/8 and 7/16. So if the ignitor sleeve in your stove is a true 3/8" it won't fit with out some modification. I made a modification to mine and it works great! If it had actually been true 3/8, I would have given it 5 stars. The first picture is the original ignitor, 2nd a 3rd picture are the new one.

Bought this October 10th and it stopped working December 27. While I wasn't expecting it to last for several years, I at least thought I would get a season or two out of it.

This was easy to install and looks like the unit that came with the stove. The connectors were correct for my stove. The price was great. Will buy this ignitor again.
