These are Great filters at a great price. I have used the Berkey system and filters for decades. I think these filters provide just as great tasting, clean water as the original Berkey filters but at a price that is dramatically less. These are shown as NSF/ANSI 42, BPA-free, lead free and have the massive 6,000 gallon lifespan. How long would it take to drink 6,000 gallons of water? These filters can be used not only on Berkey filter systems, but basically any filter system that mounts through a hole and drips down. These will work great even if you make your own filter system with a couple of five-gallon buckets. The washers to flush the filters are included so you have everything you need to start drinking clean, great tasting water!
