Price is good. I haven’t had much luck with these type of lighters in terms of longevity, so we shall see. It’s a no frills torch, but feels sturdy in the hand and delivers a powerful flame.

I love this torch it was little bigger than what I was expecting it looked smaller on line but it is still great torch and works good and it was (on sale )

very well made lighter has some weight to it so you know you holding on to something easy to fill and lights very easy and holds a flame i use around the shop mostly for heating shrink tubing on wiring

Had to disassemble and add a missing o-ring, lost about $6 in butane trying to fill, finally got it up to about 80% filled, the flow control is ridiculously coarse, even without touching it, it surges wildly between zero flow and literally a 8" super-rich yellow flame.If I had this in hand before I bought it, I wouldn't have paid $2. Absolutely terrible. I'm not sure if I'm more irritated about losing several fluid oz of bernzomatic fuel.Also, the tank cyl is undyed nylon with a polymer sleeve (the knurled section), like all of the bottom tier lighters. I have several torches that cost less than this, made of better material and design. The only part that's aluminum is the anodized sleeve around the ceramic isolator.I should send it back, but now I've got this huge cylinder filled with butane.Do not purchase this item.

If you're getting this for lighting cigarettes, it may be overkill. This thing performs like a dab torch or something you'd use to braze meat maybe. The output adjustment has far too much range. If you adjust it below 50%, it will not light. It's got a pretty decent fuel capacity, but it definitely uses a lot of fuel so it needs every bit of it. This is a pretty good dab torch, but there are better. You'll want something that puts out a very robust flame like this one, but you might end up wishing you had something with a bigger tank. Not bad.
