This is a great torch. I intend to try it for jewelry soldering, among other things, & keep a couple of cans of flammable hairspray in case defense is needed at some point (don't know how effective this really is--got it from a book--but do know it shoots a flame).This is I think my 3rd one-- my kids (all adults) "borrow" them & then claim they must be theirs. No more black--red is the answer! Besides, it's a fire color.

The challenge in cooking a roast beef is that you want the center to be tender and moist but you want the outside to be a little crisp and you want it to be roasted to unlock those savory breakdown products of the meat.One way to do that is to use a torch to initiate the chemical reaction that converts the proteins and fats in the meat into the aromas and flavors we love. Doing this with a torch is a delicate operation. Before adding anything else, go over the entire piece of meat gently. Just enough to start the fat a bubbling and the meat should just start to turn gray. Brown is too far. Just a few minutes. Remember, you are just triggering the roasting. Too much heat and those savory flavors turn bitter.Once prepped, then add your favorite rub or marinade prior to cooking.I like the TBTEEK torch because it is sturdy, comfortable in my hand and offers excellent control over the flame size.And, open wide, it lights off my fire pit logs in no time.

Only last a couple months but for the price it was good. After awhile it stopped igniting and got a bit squeaky. Easy to fill takes a lot butane and lasts awhile. More for in the kitchen.. but works for a good dab torch to get you by

This works great and is easy to use. I like the fact that you don't have to have a safely button pushed in to use it especially if you are going to use it for a longer period of time.

Product doesn't work unless I use a lighter to start it. After that I do like the settings and how adjustable the flame is. For the price, it isn't bad. It would be nice if I didn't have to use a lighter to start it though.

Butane to refill is cheap and lasts a long time, holds a lot of gas. Works as a torch as described and shown. Has a pretty big torch on the lowest and the highest setting is powerful. You can lock it so you don't have to worry about it being lit by mistake or if you want to keep your kids safe from using it. Great price and I use it for more than originally bought. U can light things a lot faster with this torch flame 🔥 than a lighter or match. Also has a flared out wide bottom base to keep it from falling over. Recommended especially for the price.

I tried this torch when I first received it. I use my lighter Butane Fuel. I need to solder water pipes at home today. I tried it out. Well done. In my experience, I feel that the temperature can reach more than 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. This is very helpful. I can put it in my tool pauch for later use, no need to carry the heavy acetylene flame soldering barrel. The safety lock can not only avoid accidental ignition, but also keep the flame burning without being pressed by the hand. This design is very useful.

Ich benutze den flammbierer um meinen kachelofen in Gang zu bringen, das kleine Teil macht was es soll allerdings wenn ich ihn auf voll leistungs stelle, kommt eher eine ungleichmäßige Stichflamme als eine gleichmäßige Flamme. Also halbe Kraft da bleibt die Flamme schön gleichmäßig. Für meine Zwecke reicht er jedenfalls aus
