these kits require work usually (my experience and other reviews). sometimes not the fault of the kit. I've had led strips that were slightly smaller than the prongs, and some larger (even though they both were supposed to be 10mm), so not the greatest quality control. the larger led strips worked better with these. in the smaller situation i had to carefully cut the 4 solder strips then pry the metal prongs on the connectors in this kit, slide in the strip and use small screwdrivers to keep separate and press metal down to hold, then snap plastic shut. the led strips were from the same seller/name company brand but purchased 6 weeks apart so once again loose quality control

I used these LED strip lights to give my toolbox “Underglowâ€. Looks awesome and the music mode is cool for working late nights by yourself and you want to have a miniature concert at your shop. I have received several compliments on the lights by coworkers and customers. Adhesive holds very strong and has held up to a shop environment, one of the toughest environments out there. I can strongly recommend these light strips to anyone looking to give a little extra custom touch to a toolbox, bedroom, or anything that you can think of!

I bought outdoor strip lighting to line my roof for Christmas. Thought that I would need additional connectors. Did not need them, but it does look like a pretty thorough kit if you do need them. Returned product.

Looked nice at first. Stopped working after a day or two (installed correctly, followed all instructions) and several of the connections caught fire. Now they are insisting that we take them down to return them for a refund. Now trying to get a refund through Amazon instead since they almost caught our house on fire in several spots.

Great pack of various parts and cables for do-it-yourself work with LED light strips. I would prefer one additional long cable, but cost is worth purchase of another pack if doing more down the line.
