I know there are some complaints about this grease gun - enough that I almost didn't buy it - but I'm really glad I did because frankly it's a great tool. I don't really need a grease gun very often, but I'm rebuilding the suspension in my truck and the new parts have grease fittings. I decided a small gun (3 oz tube) would be perfect. This little Horusdy (!) gun was only $16 and it included a tube of grease. Pretty cheap for just the gun itself, a great deal with the grease included. Before putting it together I put anti-sieze on all of the threads including the main tube; I read some reviews saying that it leaked, maybe the anti-sieze helped seal it up better. Regardless, I put it together, added the grease, released the plunger and had to pull the trigger probably 15 or 20 times before grease came out, but once it got started it worked perfectly and no leaks anywhere. Super impressed.

Bottom line save your money! My old grease gun was large and I had a hard time getting it into tight places on newer cars so I decided to purchase one of the new smaller guns. This is where everything goes sideways.1) Grease couplers (both included) became stuck on the fitting of the lower A arm. When I did get the off, the spring and teeth fell out of one the couplers on the first use. Simple enough to fix but this should not happen.2) Plunger would not squeeze grease into the hose. Had to take out small allen bolt (located behind hinge) to let air escape to get grease to enter the tube.3) Plunger would not advance into the tube to push the grease into the hose. Unscrewed the tube (base) and took out the cartilage. Grease had filled the base outside of the tube. This is when the plunger let loose shooting grease all over the ceiling. Cleaned out what grease that remained in the base. Tossed the grease tube that came with the gun thinking the problem must have been with the tube itself.4) Put in new grease tube. Screwed the top back on tube case and pumped it. Finally grease started to come out and then stopped just as quickly. I unscrewed the tube and the spring and plunger held for a few minutes and then let loose again this time the entire system self destructed. The spring and the plunger separated and flew about 15ft. The holding clasp at the bottom of the tube broke through the metal end and flew across the floor. The top with hose and the pump handle flew about 5ft skidding across the floor. Grease was everywhere. The entire tool went into the garbage after 20min of coming out of the package. I will NEVER purchase another product from this company.

I've tried a few other Horusdy products so I thought I would give them a try when I was looking for a grease gun. This does exactly what it should and is a great value for the money. If I had any gripes it would be that the included fitting is a little bit small which can make using it tricky, and it doesn't include instructions with any sort of detail. Overall the cons are minor and I'd absolutely buy this one again if it happened to break.

First, This has Nothing to do with the seller.Obvious, Manufacturing issue.Hole in hose.Missing piece or damaged handle.Grease came out of everywhere. LOL.Too bad, Nice size, compared to the big ones.Grease included, unfortunately mine went everywhere.Comes with fittings.Shipping was quick!!I would hope this is an isolated incident.Fortunately for me my neighbor had a gun I could use, as this left me strained with a dry Outer Tie Rod End.

I bought this grease gun because I needed one to grease my U-joints on my two trucks but I didn’t want one of the large full size grease guns taking up room in my storage cabinet. This tool is the perfect size for someone who doesn’t use grease very often. The tool feels like it’s sturdy and it comes with some useful atachments for it.

Used this to pump Toyota CV tan grease into two leaking CV boots. Saved me $1,800. It even comes with a tube of grease (I need the tube.) Easy to bleed by loosening the cap slightly. Easy to pump. I removed the no-name grease from the tube and loaded the Toyota CV tan grease into the tube instead. Used a needle attachment to pump the Toyota CV tan grease into the CV boots on two different Toyotas. Used gasket maker to seal the CV boots. Toyota CV joint replacement is about $900 parts and labor. Saved $1,800. (For those with Toyotas, be sure to buy a CV boot kit from your dealer to get the genuine Kyoto Yoshi CV tan grease from Toyota. Don't use garden variety CV grease from elsewhere.)
