My thoroughbred gets bedsores when she lays down. I use these all year round to keep her legs protected. I turn them upside down so they cover the front of her fetlock and ankle. They last a full year in the Utah snowstorms and fit perfectly. I get either a medium or a large and have 16 hand thoroughbred. I buy these every year because they are super functional and a great price. The Velcro stay strong, even through the muddy months.

I got these for my horse who tends to step on his front shoes and tear them off. He has been wearing them for a couple months and they do not come off! The blue nylon top layer has worn off but we are pastured 24/7, with woods and blackberries in the pasture. The neoprene is still great and there is no skin irritation. They are thick though. My horse is a big drafty mustang but they might be a bit much on my little Arab.

We love these bell boots, they're quiet (no flopping around). They stay on, the velcro doesn't tear off and yet they are also easy to remove if needed. I was hesitant at first because of their non-traditional look, but I'm sold! S. B., Narvon, PA

I really like these bell boots. Easy to clean, easy to put on and remove but… my 25 year old gelding has destroyed 2 pair in the last month! He has literally ripped them apart. Not sure how he’s doing it but he’s done it. Otherwise, nice boot if your horse doesn’t like to ruin everything!

My horse is very playful and typically destroys everything but these have really held up! He gets them off sometimes but overall they have been surprisingly durable. They’re very easy to use and I will buy these over the rubber ones all day. They are also lightweight and breathable and provide solid protection.

I've had a few pairs of these now that I flip upside down to protect my horse's fetlocks. He is thin-coated and thin skinned and wrecked the fronts of both fetlocks from laying down and getting up on rough ground. These stay put but fit loose enough to leave on 24/7 in pasture and paddock turnout when I need to, sometimes for months at a time, and they provide lots of cushion. They last surprisingly well usually. Once or twice he's caught one just right somewhere and ripped it through relatively soon, but mostly these hold up better than the fetlock protector boots that are 2x the price.

My horse has several pairs of these over reach boots now, they are the best I've ever bought. Excellent value for money, soft enough to wear all the time when he's out in the field (24/7 in summer!), no rubbing or chaffing at all. And probably most importantly, they're pretty hard wearing for a big horse who's generally very hard on his kit! Won't be buying anything else! Thank you

Used on my 17hh ID x WB mare. Here feet are big but not huge, I bought the xxl and they fit well, wouldn't want to be any bigger though, could have got away with the XL I think. They are really tough, my girl wears them daily for 8 hours in the field and although she has caught them they are holding up well and stopping injuries. They haven't rubbed either. Will definitely buy another pair when needed.
