I've acquired, lost, worn out, and thrown away a lot of wine openers in my accumulated decades of enjoying wine. The Houdini H1-012901T Winged Corkscrew will serve its purpose but not be remembered or particularly enjoyed as it helps me uncork a bottle.I say this because the materials are adequate but not the kind that turn a tool into a thing of beauty.Secondly, unless you take great care, this corkscrew tends to draw the cork up into itself where it lodges as though it ain't never comin' out. I consider this a design flaw rather than a result of user error, a claim I dare to make only because numerous similar corkscrews have never before produced for me this result.The price is right, this much is for certain. So I won't go lower than four stars on a product that could have been so much better, but is accessible and replaceable at a price that produces no regret.

I had one previously for several years until it broke. I love this wine bottle opener! Very easy for arthritic hands after a couple of uses to break it in. The wide twist top makes it easy to grip and turn and the wings glide like a knife through softened butter. I highly recommend this product! To the vendor keep me a couple on hand for the next time one breaks. They are getting harder to find!

Bought this at the suggestion of Rich from Iron Stone Meadery who uses the same one. After a bottle of their mead killed my last bottle opener. This one has yet to let me down. It works amazingly and is durable as no tomorrow. 11/10 would recommend.

I hate uncorking wine and have had a couple cork screws break on my or get in the cork. This allows me to uncork a bottle of wine in about ten seconds, just screw the corkscrew in and press down on the two handles and it opens the bottle right up.

It’s sloppily made and the plastic feels pretty cheap but it works and the packaging it comes in says Rabbit so I’m ok with it.
