My furnace is original-1979. The relay fried and several wires burnt after water dripped onto my original relay one from the clogged drip pan.Ready for this. I called a major HVAC company. The technician said he didn’t know if he could find the relay, but it would cost $360 !!! I took a picture and part number of the old relay. Put the number into Amazon. BINGO. There was my relay and at $15. The new relay worked great and I saved $345.Thank you Amazon.

This relay is straightforward and functions well. However, it's important to be aware that it makes noise while operating. If you intend to install it in your bedroom, it might not be a good idea. I've successfully used it with a Google Nest Thermostat and my gas heater millivolt system.

Installed fan came right on like it suppose to. The fan motor went out a few months later, think that is what took out my relay anyway.

After 6 months, the contacts started sticking, causing my furnace to continuously run, hearing my house until it became so hot that I had to go down and flip the breaker. Fortunately, we were home when it happened! Otherwise, this could have ended in disaster. I’m not buying no-name anymore.

I'm giving this two stars because it was cheap, lasted a year, and nothing is forever. It would have to be completely nonfunctional to earn one star, but a year isn't great with such a low duty cycle. As others have said, these eventually start getting stuck in both the active and inactive states. Simply wiggling the terminal "unsticks" it, but... that's sketchy too. In my case it resulted in a 50/50 chance of the heat running nonstop, or not at all.
