I had the same switch installed and after several years of working well, the light control lever just broke in my hand when turning on the light. I could no longer find it in the local box stores and had to buy in on Amazon. Ridiculous price, twice what I was paying for these fan switches a few years ago. I have 4 of them installed throughout my home where Hunter fans are installed.

Just installed the switch and it is just what we wanted. This works with Hunter fans that have a pull chain. I did not want a remote or a switch that takes batteries. We have a common wire in the wiring to the switch so it made it easy to install and use. I have read several reviews that say that this switch makes the fan spin too slowly and that the slowest setting is useless. I have to assume that these users do not know that the pull chain on your fan should be set to high, then the switch can be used to slow it down. Actually, we ended up setting the pull chain on medium to get a slower low speed setting. Works great for our preference. I accidentally ordered the off-white. Would have preferred a white but that is on me.

We love the dual functionality for our ceiling fan… It gives us options for brightness of the lights and speeds for the fan and looks attractive

Dont bother, these break constantly. they have a one year warranty, that is all you can expect. called and emailed hunter. crickets. im finding a replacement, not even bothering to install the brand new one i have at home. i have 4 of these, and at least one is always broken.

When it works it is fine. However, the plastic levers have broken off on me 4 times on 4 different controls which results in replacement costs and lost time. When that happens, I can still operate the switch using a letter opener to move the remaining portion of the lever, but that is not satisfactory.

Very sturdy and quality product, piece of advice. U need to have a seperate line running from fan light and fan to the switch, in order to control the light and fan independently from switch.

Lo compré para reemplazar el original que venia con mi ventilador despues de varios años de uso. El diseño parece exactamente igual y se siente un poco fragil. Esperemos que dure en función por largo tiempo.
