Our old shroud was very much the worse for wear, and had recently experienced some hail damage that couldn't be patched. I had been using silver aluminum tape to patch up the old one, but was at the point where the cover was about to be more tape than the original plastic.I ordered this ICON replacement rather than breaking out the fiberglass cloth and glue and continuing the madness. I was reluctant to spend the money on a 22 year old AC unit, but we were preparing to be traveling across the country, so I bit the bullet, and was glad I did. The shroud fits perfectly, seems to be very sturdy (maybe more substantial than the original), and certainly improved the looks over the very ratty old cover.I don't have any reservations recommending this cover as a replacement.NOTE: be very careful to ensure which Dometic Brisk Air you have. The original versus the mark 2 - II. I learned that lesson the hard way.EDIT: I forgot to mention that one or two holes didn't line up. This didn't bother me - I just drilled and continued. The sheet metal it mounts to is thin so it wasn't a big deal. For the price and the quality of the plastic I didn't think it was a big deal.

Like many, my original Dometic cover became brittle and failed...somewhere between KY and IL...we don't know, we never found it. Not good. This replacement cover fit the Brisk II just PERFECTLY and it is quite flexible. I think that's a good thing, because it is less likely to have a dramatic failure as ours did. I'd rather replace a cracked wobbly thing that stays on the trailer than to have a brittle thing crack and fly off the road into oncoming traffic. With luck the sun's UV rays don't turn this into a brittle thing, but now I know to add this to our annual inspection list.

Replaced my cracked, original Brisk ii cover with this and it was a tight fit, as if this Icon replacement was molded slightly smaller. There were a couple options to make it fit such as redrilling 2 of the four mounting screw locations, shaving approx 1/4†off the top of A/C’s styro support, or what I did was put lots of down pressure on the cover and ran the 2 screws in at a slight downward angle. So far so good and couldn’t really beat the price.

The fit was perfect and the material seems more flexible which I hope will improve the durability, unlike the original one which was very brittle.

The OEM cover was very brittle. When I removed the cover, just the process of removing it caused several cracks in the cover, this replacement is much less brittle and fits like the original.

I tried to save some money and go this route. I have a 2022 Jayco with a 15BTU a/c. This will not fit. Hope this helps someone

Perfect fit and way better than the original hard brittle plastic that melted and warped in the AZ heat.
