Your cart is empty.The IDEAL 74-028 Ductile Iron Bender Head and Handle for 1-Inch EMT conduit is constructed out of ductile iron for added for durability. Its heat treated for extra strength with reinforced stress points for long life. It has a precision-located degree scale, star arrow and rim notch for the perfect bend every time. There are markings raised and cast into the bender body on both sides for easy visibility. The deeply serrated step and grooved internal hook surface helps prevent slippage when applying maximum leverage. The flat hook surface provides a stable starting point and there is a lifetime replacement guarantee. In 1916, J. Walter Becker started the Ideal Commutator Dresser Company of Chicago from his mother's kitchen. He manufactured commutator dresser stones with the belief that every product should be worth more than the price paid for it. Service, he said, was part of the product. No kinks with this 1 inch bender, it's awesome. I plan on replacing my 3/4 bender with ideal, instead of the "orange " brand that kinks the heck out of my pipes even with constant pressure. I don't think ideal has let me down yet and I've been an electrician for 15 years

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I was unable to fit my 1" EMT into the handle to do fine manual adjustments as suggested in various videos.

Makes it much easier to bend tube. I have tried marking degrees on my standard A frame bender but this is so much easier and i have a lot less wasted tube

I tried a few different tools for pipe bending, but this one is the best. Accurate and solid build will last several life time. Works great.
