This may be the only matte black shower curtain on the market, but it's okay because it's pretty darn good. There are tons of options for mounting depending on the availability and placement of studs, and the option to use drywall anchors if you need to. I was able to add one screw through a stud on each side, and use drywall anchors for the other two. It's very sturdy. There's a touch of 'slop' but that's just because it's mounted on a hinge on each side, and it's not a problem at all. There's no droop in the curve.The two things keeping this from a 5-star review are a slight scratch in the matte black finish on one end cap, and the fact the plastic bushing where the two sides telescope is a weird color. It looks like a dirty brown for some reason, kind of like antique bakelite plastic. Those are very minor, however, and I would recommend this to anyone with a black-finished bathroom.

Was sent a shower curtain rod that had been opened and returned. Anchors and screws were missing. Overall a poor experience and inconvenient. Will be returning to buy elsewhere.

I had a tiny closet of a shower, made even more tiny by the use of a straight tension-style shower curtain rod. I thought that an adjustable, curved shower curtain rod was too good to be true, but I rolled the dice anyway and tried it. Lo and behold: it works.Now, I didn't drill it into tile or vinyl or anything like that -- because I tried that once in the past and it was difficult to do. Plus, I probably created some mold problems because of the water getting into the walls. SO! I found a stud conveniently located on one side, and some drywall on the other. I drilled directly into the studs for one side, and I used my own drywall anchors for the other. Seriously, just don't bother using the drywall anchors that come with your products. Get a pack of them at your hardware store, and use a drill to install them into the wall.If you install the rod on a sort of angle (as I did), you'll find that the little end cups (which are purely decorative) will not affix completely over the ends of the rod. I figured this was a possibility, and if I could remove them, I would -- but having those decorative bits be a little wobbly on the ends isn't a dealbreaker for me.The instructions said I needed a second person to install this -- it might have helped, but I managed it on my own. Just make sure you line everything up and mark your spots in the wall BEFORE you drill. And if you're drilling into tile, do some research about getting the right drill bits, the right anchors, and maybe some sort of sealant for the anchors, because otherwise you'll make a mess of things. Trust me on this. Or better yet, find a friend who knows how to do these things, and buy them some pizza or something.The end product for me, though, is that I have about twice the space I had before, which makes it like showering in a slightly larger closet -- but at the very least I can move my elbows out from my sides a little. It's a lot easier to use that shower.

Product was exactly as described, relatively easy to install and looks beautiful.It also came almost a week early, the only downfall, was that it was missing a piece to hold the end cap in place on one side.Other than that great product.

Needed to replace our silver shower rod and couldn't find any black ones locally. The curved design is excellent for a little bit of extra space in the shower. Love the matte black it really modernized the bathroom. Easy to install. Highly recommend.
