I ordered and received exactly the item shown, unlike a previous reviewer. When I ordered (from a Marketplace seller, not Amazon), they were backordered and took a very long time (2 months) to receive, but the seller had noted as much in the description and I received periodic updates and offers to cancel if I so wished.I bought both the 4 - 1/2" and the 6 inch saucers to use as dessert plates. I serve tiny portions for the children on the (espresso cup sized) 4.5" plates and adults get these.I hoped for a bit more purple and a bit less blue, just based upon my home's color scheme, but, truly, the images on these plates simply make me happy. I got rid of my huge old set of dishes that no longer made me happy and I use glass plates from IKEA for dinner and these beauties for dessert. They coordinate easily with many colors because the design is so festive.I've had mine for about a year now with no breakage in spite of regular use by both adults and young (3-7 years) children.If the design delights you, too, I suggest you go ahead and enjoy them!

I bought a single cup and saucer years ago to use for tea, and they are hands down my favorite set. In fact when I broke the saucer I glued it back together so that I can continue using it until I can justify ordering a replacement. I'd love to have the full range of dishes -- they are absolutely exquisite, exceptionally well made, and a delight to use.

I bought two sets,I think they are beautiful,also bough the cups that the saucers go with..I love the soft colors,they are my favorite colors.I bought them as a gift to my niece,We also love the Owl designe,that's also the reason I bought them,they really are beautiful

Love the color and design. Microwaves and can put right away in the frig light weight and just need to be careful with the plate as thin

I ordered two red plates with a peacock on the plate as shown on line. I was sent red plates with an owl on them. I called Amazon and spoke with a person who said it had showen I had indeed ordered two red plates with a peacock on them NOT OWLS. I stayed on line a long time and the man told me the item number did not match the product. I told him I would be sending the wrong red plates back and to cancel the order. I ordered the red plates with the peacock from someone else. I continued to receive red plates from Amazon with the owl. NO ONE had my permission to send me these plates after Amazon's mistake and my cancellation of these plates. I had to keep sending these packages back to a very busy postal office at Christmas. I did not appreciate this and was not happy with any part of this transaction. If Amazon did not have the peacock, they should have never sent an owl. Later the graphic was changed from a peacock to an owl and the two wonderful people I talked to at Amazon said they could see that.
