My initial review was wrong. I was able to modify the trunk liner in my Volvo C70 that has inadequate reverse lighting. I purchased this because a 6 watt LED bulb is necessary for the CanBus of a modern vehicle. While the 1-1/2 inch LED unit is longer than the standard H6W bulb. The access panels in the trunk of the Volvo must have a half-inch flap to be cut on the inboard side which then allows the housing to be replaced into the lamp assembly with the long LED inserted. The access panel cover then covers the flap. I receive no error messages and the LED is brighter than the H6W incandescent bulb.

These bulbs have the LED color but I wish they were a lot more brighter. I have a 1998 Mercedes E-300 (W210) model. They are a good replacement for the factory halogen bulb (H6W), but are nowhere near as bright. If you want the LED look these are the way to go, but just know they are not too bright. Installation in a W-210 model was a breeze for me, taking about 30 seconds each.UPDATE:They ARE NOT canbus and you will get an "error" code on your instrument panel...

I installed them on a 2003 Audi S4 and both worked when installed. The computer likes them and hasn't given me any parking light errors. It seems some people had problems with them but for $10 I thought I would give them a try. They are parking lights and not meant to be too bright but they look great compared to the traditional bulbs that I replaced.

I installed the LED lights which worked at first, but I noticed that the lamps' bases were poorly formed resulting in the bulbs fitting poorly in the sockets. I attempted to fit the bulbs into the sockets as well as I could anyway. However, with normal vehicle vibration, one of the LED bulbs soon came loose and shorted out the socket. I swapped the bulbs to the opposite side, but the bulbs came loose yet again, got crossways in one of the sockets, shorted the socket, blew the fuse, and melted the bulb socket. Now I have to get replacement sockets and modify them to make the bulbs work. The LED lamps' light was good while they worked. However, I found the poor quality bulb base extrusions on the base sides are too short to securely hold the bulbs in the sockets. The metal of the base is too thin and did not hold its shape. I cannot recommend these bulbs due to the base quality issue.

One of them burnt itself to a crisp after a month.Looked great until it failed and did not trigger a bulb failure warning(until it burned out)on my 2002 E430.Maybe if you buy a bunch of them you'll get a solid pair. I decided to just try another brand.

Fits my 01 clk430 parking lights (the small round lights). No error message on dash. Not that bright during the day, but at night they look nice, bright and blue.

Works as promised on my 98 Merc E320. No error message.Waited a while before posting review as I seen others mention issues within 1st week. I've not had any issues in past 6 weeks of use.Was expecting a bit brighter bulb. Would say they are slightly less bright then factory. However will worth it as it would have cost double for factory and would have to replace every few years.The shift away from yellow light is also welcome so far.

Installed this in my 996. Give off a very nice light compared to the halogen I had. Hopefully they last.
