I purchased 5 of these things for dog water buckets outdoors. They are cheap made on both ends. Please be careful when using I've had 2 of the 5 come a part at first use. They get very hot where the cord meets the coil and start arching due to loose connections. I wouldn't recommend for anyone.

If you watch it, stair at it as it heats you shall have a great water, soup heater. I was busy melted the plastic the third time I used it. Tis good though when tilted sideways or watched as heats. Very inexpensive.

I only have 1 problem with this water heater wand and that is that there isn't a plastic cover at the bottom to keep it from melting whatever container you put it in. Other than that heats up very quickly and I've had great results with it heating up large amounts of water.

I bought the "A" type. It was cheap but after a month the connection at the top got hot and started to melt some of the plastic. I resoldered it and it's working again now.

It works, but after 10 minutes of first use heating water, by the time it heated a gallon of water from 70'F to almost 150'F, the (above the water line) handle started melting down. It still works, but I was hoping it could boil water without any issues.
