About this item

  • HERB GROWING KIT: Package comes with 5 types of herb seeds, 5 jute bags, 5 plant markers, 5 soil disks, 1 mini shears, and 1 planting guide. This herb growing kit is super easy to start, and perfect for gardening beginners.
  • INDOOR HERB GARDENING: We provide seeds that grow into Basil, Parsley, Rosemary, Thyme, and Mint. All these herbs seeded on your own would be safer and greener to eat, and especially suitable to be put on the kitchen's windowsill so that you can get and cook with the freshly plucked.
  • 5 JUTE BAGS: 5 durable jute bags with unique beautiful prints are supposed to hold soil and seeds. As the jute material is not waterproof, you'd better to use with a tray for water. Simple and stylish appearance is suitable for balcony, windowsill and shelf decoration, practical and beautiful, making your room full of vitality. Please transparent the seedlings to larger pots when they grow into 2-3 inch for more space.
  • 5 SOIL DISKS: Our herb soil contains coconut coir, which is good to seeds germination and can promote the growth of seedling. It is compressed into soil discs (1.5" in thickness, each soil disc weighs 2oz) for easy package and can expand into 10 times as large as what it was after absorbing the water. 5 soil discs are sufficient enough for the beginning of the plant growing.
  • PERFECT GIFT: This herb growing starter kit comes with a beautiful box, which makes it a decent gift presenting to your families and friends for housewarming party, Father's Day, Mother's Day gifts and other important occasions. Herb growing can well free them from tired life, relieve their stress, and bring new vigor.
  • TIPS FOR HERB GROWING: (1) Seeds should be fully soaked in advance. (2) Soil disc should be soaked in water and fully expanded before use. (3) Suitable temperature, sufficient water and air, and light shading are essential for germination, but give proper sunlight after the leaves arise. (4) Time for sprout varies from different seeds. Generally it takes 2 to 8 weeks. Refer to the introduction & growing guide for more details.

Ordered for mother's day and when the package came out was definitely smaller than I thought but she was happy with it either way

These seeds all sprouted for me but died very quickly -- they need to be moved into bigger pots almost immediately. The photos of lush growth in the little bags are completely unrealistic.

This looks like such a nice, inexpensive, hostess gift idea. I bought one for myself and now I’m embarrassed. I gave them to two different people. When I tried mine, the seeds did not germinate. Total waste of effort and money.

I got this kit specifically for the herbs included. I was especially excited to grow rosemary, thyme and basil. We were very careful to label and plant the correct seeds. The thyme came up all feathery and I thought it looked like dill. Used my plant identifier app. It was Indian Dill. My rosemary never sprouted. The “basil” sprouted one sprout that looked like parsley, my “peppermint” wasn’t minty and I used my app again and it was lemon balm. The only one that was correct was the parsley. It’s concerning to be growing herbs for cooking but you don’t even know what they are. I give it two stars because it’s cute and stuff did grow….but overall not happy.

I do not have a green thumb by no means. I saw this and thought it might be easy to plant and grow. Well the planting is easy enough. i only planted today, but it was easy as 1-2-3. Try it!!! It was fun. If I had a little one at home, this would be a great project for the kids. Only time will tell. Great for your young chefs too!!

Daughter loves this! Seeds are already sprouting after 1 1/2 weeks. They aren’t stable enough to sit in window so I purchased a basket. The bags leak so I’d suggest selling a thin water tray or 2 to arrange burlap sacks. Overall, she loves it with my basket!!👍 would absolutely buy again adds a homey touch to the kitchen, the pink scissors were included to cut the herbs as needed!
